Supporting tired parents with their baby’s sleep

I am dedicated to getting your family the sleep they need and deserve! Let me help you decode your baby’s sleep and find the best sleep solutions for your newborn, baby or toddler.

I work one-on-one to educate and empower families with the techniques needed to ensure healthy sleep habits for their children. I explain the dynamics, patterns, and development of infant and toddler sleep so there is a true understanding of how to solve your child’s sleep challenges. We walk through different approaches based on your child’s unique personality, your parenting style and your family’s needs! I provide custom support and guidance without judgment or guilt!

What parents are saying

Overcome these common sleep struggles

  • bedtime battles

  • frequent/multiple night-wakings

  • finding a nap routine

  • early-wakings

  • a dependency on feeding or rocking to sleep

  • short or non-existent naps

  • co-sleeping out of desperation rather than choice

You and your child deserve a good night’s sleep

Let’s talk about crying

We all know that you are here wondering if in working with me you will be encouraged to let your baby “Cry It Out.” This is a hot topic so let’s discuss it honestly.

First and foremost, I will never ask you to leave your baby to cry if you are not comfortable doing so. Nor will I ask you to ignore your baby’s cries or your parental instincts. Babies have lots of ways of communicating and crying is one of them. Not all crying is created equal, however. Babies will cry out of anger, frustration, hunger, discomfort, and as a sign of being tired. Crying is a physical response to internal stress and our body needs to expel those emotions and energy.

In changing the familiar, it is only natural for a baby (and adults for that matter) to get upset, fuss and yes, cry. Once we learn to listen to our babies, we can better respond to their needs while helping them regulate their stress response by being a calming presence. We will, therefore, be able to allow them the space to expel that energy in order for them to develop these skills in a constructive and gentle way instead of just trying to “stop the crying.”

My goal in working with your family is to help your child develop sustainable life-long sleep skills in a way that betters your entire family’s sleep. This road will and should look different for each family. Every parent has a different comfort level with crying and we will always find a solution that works for your baby as well as your parenting style.
